Drug test results and Clearinghouse records have their own retention rules. They are not “in the DQ file” as a shortcut that mixes confidential testing records into a folder anyone in the shop can flip through.
- Application for employment.
- Road test certificate, or the exception the rule allows, such as a current CDL in the cases the section names.
- Motor vehicle record and the annual review.
- Medical examiner’s certificate, and the National Registry verification the rule requires.
- The safety performance history you were required to investigate.
